We come together to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word
The Good Shepherd Center provides a place for spiritual growth. Through diverse meaningful programs and activities, we provide opportunities for personal growth, healing grace and peace. We endeavor to create an atmosphere of hospitality and openness, welcoming those who gather to become closer to God. Our chapel provides an environment of solace for prayer and reflection for all people seeking healing, wholeness and holiness in their lives. The Good Shepherd Center is ecumenical and we welcome women and men of all faiths to visit and participate.
Our Church, the worship center, is the heart of our pilgrim journey, deepening our relationship with God. We come together as a Roman Catholic community to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist enriched by meaningful homilies and a strong music ministry. On weekdays, we gather for daily mass in the intimate setting of Mary’s Chapel.
The St. Nicholas Center offers activities and events in a safe and wholesome environment that will physically, socially and spiritually strengthen individuals, families and the greater community. The Center includes a Catholic preschool program for children ages three to five years old. The Youth Ministry room provides a safe and nurturing place for teens to develop and strengthen their own relationship with Jesus and one another. Our multi-purpose room is designed to provide indoor sports programs for youth through adults.
We coordinate and support our sister parish in Guatemala, working to keep us aware of their presence, and initiate special projects for them throughout the year.
We serve the poor by taking phone calls, visiting homes to assess situations, responding to individual’s and family need, and recommending those in need to agencies for help.
